Japanese and Philippines election posters

American professor Steven Seidman has contacted me about his new book Posters, Propaganda, and Persuasion in Election Campaigns Around the World and Through History which is receiving excellent reviews.

The book includes two images taken by me, one taken in Japan and one in the Philippines.

See the book in Amazon.com.

The big difference between the use of images in election campaigns around the world and in the UK is that here, we make much less use of pictures of candidates (which is probably just as well in many cases).
