My cityscape photos at Photorama exhibition Mooch Art Gallery
Four of my cityscape photos - including a ’small’ version of the Manchester Mega-Photo - are now on display in the Photorama exhibition at pioneering private art Gallery Mooch on Oldham Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

A two metre wide canvas print of the Manchester Mega-Photo in the front window has been attracting a lot of attention. A second copy faces inwards into the gallery. The other images chosen for the exhibition are my panorama of the Hacienda, a night view from Werneth Low and the dusk panorama from Tempus Tower.
Two other photographers are featured in the exhibition: In Barry Jackson’s ‘Angels’ series, statues of angels are placed within the gritty context of the city, giving an effect reminiscent of the film ‘Wings of Desire’ by Wim Wenders.

Trever Olner’s pinhole camera photographs provide a view of contemporary scenes in the manner of early photography. It’s refreshing to find a photographer keeping a traditional technique alive in an age dominated by digital technology.
Exhibition preview was on Friday 10th of October from 6 to 9pm. All works are for sale.
